Welcome Reception

Join fellow delegates for an engaging evening of networking, culture, and connection at the conference Welcome Reception, held in the lobby of UNSW’s Clancy Auditorium.
As part of the evening, delegates are invited to take part in a guided tour of the newly opened UNSW Health Translation Hub (HTH), a short walk from the reception. The tour features a unique exhibition curated to reflect the conference themes and perspectives, offering meaningful insights and opportunities for reflection and discussion, alongside a look at the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct (RHIP). First Nations Place and Health Exhibition
The tour begins at the Health Translation Hub with a unique exhibition curated to reflect the conference themes and perspectives, exploring First Nations place and health. Delegates will have the chance to view the works and hear about the stories and ideas behind them.
The Precinct Arts Tour
The tour makes its way down through the Precinct to the IASB to view the ancient Hearth Stones, the surrounding landscaping, and the Jonathan Jones artwork. From there, delegates will pass Rochelle Haley’s artwork linking to the Lunar Sway installation, before continuing through the Plaza to take in Nike Savvas’ Chroma Cosmic in the SCHN foyer and the Dennis Golding / Re-Right Collective artwork on High Street. Along the way, guests will hear from artists and Precinct partners about the works and the collaborations behind them, offering a unique window into the creativity and cultural life of the Precinct.
Healthy Cities Awards Ceremony

Getting to the Museum of Contemporary Art
The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) is located at Circular Quay, approximately 30–40 minutes from UNSW Sydney Kensington Campus.
Public Transport (Recommended)
From UNSW Clancy Auditorium, delegates can easily travel to the MCA via Sydney’s Light Rail network:
- Catch the L2 Light Rail from UNSW High Street Stop towards Circular Quay.
- Disembark at Circular Quay.
- The MCA is a short 2-minute walk from the station, located at 140 George Street, The Rocks.
Taxi or Rideshare
Taxi and rideshare services are readily available from the UNSW Kensington Campus and surrounding hotels. Travel time is approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
